Nalle Hukkataival Nails His Last-Chance Ascent Of Emotional Landscapes (V15/8C)

Inspired by old school footage of Klem Loskot, a giant of 90's climbing, Black Diamond and La Sportiva Climber Nalle Hukkataival travelled to Maltatal, Austria to attempt the super-hard boulder problems established by Loskot during his prime. When they were first climbed, these lines earned a reputation for being desperately tough, a reputation that has been born out in the years since. With the main aim of his trip, the Bügeleisen Sit Start, still drying out, Nalle turns his attention to one of Loskot's hardest test pieces, Emotional Landscapes (V15/8C). The line proves a demanding proposition with the famously difficult to use crux hold turning back Nalle's efforts. However, a few days after making the first ascent of the Bügeleisen Sit Start, Nalle returned to 'Emotional Landscapes' alone for a final effort on one of the world's hardest boulders.
